Courses & Syllabus
The Science stream in Grades 11-12 includes compulsory and optional subjects, divided into Biological (Bio Group) and Physical (Maths Group) tracks.
Compulsory Subjects:
- Physics: Mechanics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Modern Physics.
- Chemistry: Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry.
- Biology (Bio Group) or Mathematics (Maths Group).
- English: Language, Literature, and Communication.
- Nepali: Language and Social Studies.
- Social Studies & Life Skills: Sociology, Psychology, Ethics.
Optional Subjects (Choose One):
- Computer Science: Programming (C/C++), OOP, Data Structures.
- Applied Mathematics: Advanced Calculus, Modeling.
- Engineering Drawing: Technical drafting and design.
- Agriculture: Plant science, Agronomy.
- Statistics: Data analysis, Probability.
Common Groupings:
- Biological Science (Bio Group): Physics, Chemistry, Biology + Optional.
- Physical Science (Maths Group): Physics, Chemistry, Maths + Optional.
Course Outlines: The +2 Science program covers many subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, and Nepali. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical components to develop students' understanding and application of scientific concepts.
The objectives of the +2 Science program are as follows:
- To provide a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and skills.
- To develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- To prepare students for higher education in science-related fields.

- To promote ethical practices and responsible citizenship.
After completion of the +2 Science program, students are expected to:
